We grew up with silk.

Then we moved to the U.S. and traded that life for high-pressure careers, late nights, and the kind of stress that shows up first in your sleep, then on your skin. We tried everything — expensive serums, blackout curtains, supplements. Nothing felt like home.

So we did the simplest thing we could think of: we brought our silk bedding back. Not the thin, slippery kind that frays after three washes, or the polyester blends sold as silk-like. Real mulberry silk — the same heavy, breathable weave we'd known our whole lives. Cool in summer, warm in winter, gentle on tired skin.

Within weeks, something shifted. We slept deeper. Our skin looked calmer. Mornings felt less like recovery.

That's when we realized how rare this actually was in the States — not the silk itself, but silk made with real craft, designed to live with you for years, and styled for the way modern homes actually look.

So we built SilkSilQ. We work directly with mulberry silk producers from our hometown, hold every piece to the standards our families taught us, and pair that heritage with a quieter, more contemporary aesthetic.
